President Emomali Rahmon Acquainted with the Activities of the Dehai Man Enterprise in Bokhtar

DUSHANBE, 01.11.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 2, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, in the center of the Khatlon Province — in Bokhtar, put into operation the Limited Liability Company «Dehai man».
The enterprise is engaged in packaging of fruits, dried fruits and vegetables, it has 6 lines for processing and packaging of agricultural products.
As was reported during the familiarization, the enterprise is equipped with modern functional equipment manufactured by the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Belarus, packs agricultural products and prepares them for sale, taking into account the requirements of the domestic and international markets.
The equipment at the enterprise operates in automatic mode and can pack 3 tons of vegetables, up to 120 kilograms of grain products per hour and offer them to customers.
At present, the enterprise has started packing 14 types of fruits, dried fruits and vegetables, the operating devices allow to significantly increase the list of products with the advent of demand.
70 percent of agricultural products that are imported to the enterprise for packaging come from agricultural enterprises of the republic, and the remaining 30 percent, including grain, are imported from foreign countries.
Currently, «Dehai man» has cooperation agreements with 45 agricultural enterprises and purchases products from them. The enterprise also has the opportunity to fulfill the orders of dekhkan farms for the packaging of their products.
Packing of fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products is carried out in various sizes and types in beautiful cargo boxes in accordance with the requirements of the time. Currently, the packaged products of this enterprise are mainly sent to shops and outlets in Dushanbe, Bokhtar, and other regions of the country. According to responsible persons, there are many consumers of such high-quality agricultural products in foreign markets at present, and the enterprise is ready to export them to other countries.
«Dehai man» Limited Liability Company was established with the contribution of local entrepreneurs and development partners (United Nations Development Program and Japan International Cooperation Agency), here 15 local residents who completed retraining courses are provided with permanent jobs.
A separate store has been opened next to the new facility, and customers are offered products packaged at this facility in various shapes and sizes.
During the visit, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, regarded the creation of such enterprises as an important factor in providing the population with jobs, and gave valuable advice to responsible persons on expanding the export of packaged products.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, visited the exhibition of agricultural enterprises of the Khatlon Province and viewed their final products.
Packaged honey, juices, drinks, dried fruits, grain processing products were exhibited, which indicates the development of the sphere and the increase in the number of agricultural enterprises in the region.
It was emphasized that at present, 17 enterprises in the Khatlon Province carry out effective activities in the direction of processing and packaging of agricultural products, their products are offered on the domestic and foreign markets. With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, production of cheeses, various drinks from juicy fruits of Tajikistan, processing of dried fruits, packaging of honey, fruits, cereals and nuts has been established in the region.
It was reported that most of the processed agricultural products, along with domestic markets, are sold in the markets of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Turkiye.
According to the information, until the beginning of October this year, 81,301 tons of agricultural products were exported from the region to other countries, including onions, carrots, cabbage, beets, apricots, peaches, lemons, grapes and other types of agricultural products.
During the visit, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, considered the opening of such new enterprises for processing agricultural products as an important factor in increasing the country’s export potential, and also gave specific instructions and recommendations to responsible persons for the further development of the agro-industrial complex.
