DUSHANBE, 29.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 29, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

In the work of the meeting, issues related to measures to implement the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023” were first discussed, and on which the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Fayziddin Qahhorzoda reported.

As it was emphasized, the purpose of discussing this document is to specify the progress of the implementation of the State budget, the effective and purposeful use of budgetary funds, as well as the definition of the powers of ministries, state committees, departments, executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts, enterprises, institutions and organizations, regardless of forms of ownership, regarding the implementation of the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023».

Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, gave strong instructions and guidance to members of the Government of the country, heads of ministries and departments to ensure the timely implementation of state budget plans in 2023.

In particular, instructions were given to take immediate measures to find new ways to implement the tax plan and the state budget, create new jobs, attract citizens to useful manual labor, such as panning for gold, on the territory of the country. In connection with this issue, it was emphasized that in a short time, at the direction of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, more than 7,000 residents in the republic received a license for gold panning and were involved in this profitable activity.

Then the members of the Government of the country discussed the Work Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first half of 2023.

It was noted that the Work Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first half of 2023 was developed on the basis of the indicators of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, and is aimed at ensuring sustainable economic and social development of the country for subsequent periods.

After discussion at a meeting of the Government of the country, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On State Duty” was proposed for consideration in the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the subject of discussion was also the “State Program for Raising Patriotism, Sense of Civic Responsibility and Strengthening the National Identity of the Youth of Tajikistan for 2023-2027”, “Medium-Term State Program for the Protection of the Population and Territory from Emergencies for 2023-2028”, «Action plan for the implementation of the Tourism Development Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 for 2023-2026» and other issues on the agenda of the meeting of the Government of the country.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Head of the Government of the country, Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to members of the Government of the country, heads of ministries and departments and other responsible persons on timely and quality assurance of the implementation of the main indicators of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, summing up the results with notable achievements in 2022 and ensuring sustainable economic and social development of the country in subsequent years.

Other instructions were given to ensure the effective operation of the country’s socio-economic facilities, especially road and transport facilities, power supply and communications and social institutions in the winter, supply of the population and facilities for various purposes with electricity and heat, prevention of the loss of electricity, rational use of electricity and heat and timely payment of funds for their use, prevention of fire cases, strict observance of the requirements of the country’s legislation on the responsibility of parents in raising children and regulating traditions, celebrations and rituals in the Republic of Tajikistan.
