Adoption of Joint and Coordinated Measures as part of the World Water and Climate Alliance Discussed in Cairo
DUSHANBE, 17.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 15, the Ambassadors of Tajikistan and the Netherlands in Cairo held a joint meeting with the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Egypt Hani Suwaylam.
The meeting focused on the UN Water Conference, which will be held on March 22-24, 2023 in New York under the chairmanship of Tajikistan and the Netherlands, on the issues of cooperation in the field of water resources and irrigation, rational use of water, adoption of joint and coordinated measures within the framework of the World Water and Climate Alliance.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan, Egypt and the Netherlands, given the rich experience in these issues, can have fruitful cooperation for the benefit of these countries and all the peoples of the world.
