DUSHANBE, 17.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Within the framework of his state visit to China, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, met with the chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, Wang Huning.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and China were discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting, President of our country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, stated that we attach great importance to the expansion of friendly relations and good neighborliness between Tajikistan and China.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as security.

During a discussion of the bilateral agenda, particular attention was paid to the issue of cooperation between parliaments and public organizations, including inter-party relations. The parties also noted the strengthening of relations in the fields of science, education, culture and humanitarian as vital importance.
