Tajik Bobojon Gafurov District and Kazakh Maktaaral District Sign MoU

DUSHANBE, 05.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 3, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to establish sister city relations between the Bobojon Gafurov district of Tajikistan and the Maktaaral district of Kazakhstan.
The memorandum was signed as part of the state visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Kazakhstan by the Chairman of the Sughd region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and Akim of the Maktaaral district Bakit Asanov.
The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation in the investment sphere.
In accordance with the Memorandum, the parties will establish friendly relations and will cooperate in the field of industry, economy, trade and agriculture.
