Tajikistan and Sweden Expand Cooperation between Intellectual Centers

DUSHANBE, 29.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 25, the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Khairiddin Usmonzoda met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Thomas Danestad.
The meeting focused on the bilateral relations of the states in the direction of establishing cooperation between the intellectual centers.
The parties expressed views on the changing political and economic situation in the region and the world. It was also called necessary and important to strengthen and expand ties between Tajikistan and Sweden in all areas of mutual interest.
The parties also exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan, its threats and dangers for the region and the world.
It was emphasized that the Swedish side can effectively use the transport corridors of Tajikistan to transport humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
