Political Parties of China and Central Asia Expand Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 15.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The first meeting of the Dialogue of Political Parties of China and Central Asia, which was attended by representatives of the political parties of Tajikistan, was held on June 12 in Beijing.
The meeting was held in order to implement the agreements reached between the heads of state in May 2023 in China by the Communist Party of China.
The First Deputy Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Azizi, during his speech, emphasized that in today’s world the role of political parties in the matter of relations is always key and can give the desired results. China and Tajikistan celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. During this period, relations between states gradually strengthened and entered a new stage of formation. It is logical that today these relations are successfully developing within the framework of a comprehensive strategic partnership in an atmosphere of absolute mutual understanding, mutual respect and trust.
The results of the latest negotiations between the heads of state — Emomali Rahmon and Xi Jinping during the state visit of the President of Tajikistan to China gave a new impetus to the long-term cooperation of states in all areas.
Representatives of the political parties of Central Asia at this meeting came to the conclusion that in order to promote the peaceful development of the region, it is necessary to expand the exchange of experience.
