Tajikistan and the EU Discuss Political, Economic and Humanitarian Issues

DUSHANBE, 29.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 26, 2023, in Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the 10th meeting of the Cooperation Council between Tajikistan and the European Union, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
The meeting focused on the current agenda of bilateral relations.
The parties exchanged views on the ways of enhancement and expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the EU in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
The officials also discussed issues of regional security, situation in Afghanistan, the threat of terrorism and extremism and other topics of mutual interest.
