23 New Types of Industrial Products Began to be Produced in Khatlon region

DUSHANBE, 13.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – To date, 209 types of industrial products are produced in the Khatlon region. For 6 months of this year, 23 types of new products have been produced, such as carbon dioxide, urea, fluorine sulfide, sodium fluoride, kvass, beer.
For half a year, the region produced industrial products worth over 4.7 billion somoni. This figure is 473.9 million somoni more than last year. Of these, 4.1 billion somoni, or 87.3%, falls on industrial enterprises and 610.3 million somoni, or 12.7% (an increase of 3.2%), on the private sector.
In the total volume, the share of industry is 55%, as well as the share of electricity production and services is 44.5%.
In the first half of 2023, 83 industrial workshops were put into operation in the region, which have already produced products worth 31.7 million somoni. This ratio is equal to the same period last year.
Thus, the total number of industrial enterprises in the region reached 792, which is 118 more than last year.
