DUSHANBE, 04.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputies of the Representatives Assembly of Tajikistan take part in the 30th annual session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vancouver.
The session continues from June 30 through July 4. It is attended by the Chairman of the Committee of the Representatives Assembly for International Affairs, Public Associations and Information Saidmurod Fattohzoda and the deputy of the Representatives Assembly Parvina Malikzod.
The session agenda focused on “Strengthening regional security through the development of democratic and inclusive societies: the role of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.”
The meetings of the General Committee for Politics and Security, the General Committee for Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and the Environment, the General Committee for Democracy, Human Rights, and Humanitarian Affairs were also held as part of the session.
The reports of the Chairman of the Special Committee for Migration, the Chairman of the Special Committee for Combating Terrorism and a report on the activities of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly were heard.
