Seven Educational Facilities Commissioned in Sughd Region

DUSHANBE, 26.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – For 6 months of 2023, seven educational facilities with 1,820 seats have been commissioned in the Sughd region, as well as construction works are underway at 53 facilities.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, 571,729 people, including 280,773 girls, are studying in 946 general education institutions in the region.
According to statistics, there are 279 preschool educational institutions in the region, including 205 preschool institutions subordinate to the departments of education of cities and districts, 12 preschool institutions subordinate to organizations, enterprises, and 61 private preschool educational institutions.
