Air Route to Open Between Tajikistan and China in 2023

DUSHANBE, 20.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – In the first half of 2023, the project to open an air route between Tajikistan and China will be completed, reports Tajikaeronavigatsia.
On December 16, a virtual meeting was held on the current state of the project to open air routes between Tajikistan and China with the participation of the Deputy General Directors of Tajikaeronavigatsia and representatives of the Chinese delegation.
The meeting focused on technical issues and installation of aviation equipment, as well as the work performed by both parties.
The installation of air navigation equipment is currently underway and the ADS-B system will be equipped for the line of this project by the end of 2022.
During the flight of an aircraft at an altitude of 11,000 meters, equipment waves will control the flight zone, even 65 km beyond the state border line, as well as the space of China.
Also during this period, it is necessary to install new DME / DME equipment, an MLAT control system, equipment for transporting aviation electrical communications, and several modern systems. This equipment provides complete air traffic services in this region.
