Tajik and Uzbek Delegations Meet in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – A meeting of the delegations of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan chaired by Prime Ministers Kohir Rasulzoda and Abdulla Aripov took place in Dushanbe on July 22, which was focused on various areas of cooperation.
The parties expressed interest in further strengthening ties in the fields of energy, trade, transport, agriculture, tourism and other spheres.
The Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan considered effective the implementation of the goals of the heads of state to develop cooperation for both sides.
It was noted that within the framework of the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the twofold development of relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan is ensured.
