Representatives of the Refereeing Department of the Asian Football Confederation Visit Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 14.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) project on the development of refereeing administration, representatives of the refereeing department of the AFC visited Tajikistan.
Every year, the Asian Football Confederation selects three countries for the refereeing development administration project. This year, Tajikistan was among the countries where the project is being implemented.
The task of the refereeing development administration project is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the refereeing departments and committees of the countries that are members of the AFC.
During a visit to Tajikistan, the head of the administration of the AFC refereeing department Hirokuzo Abe and the manager of the administrative project of the AFC refereeing department Rii Chengseok held working meetings with the leadership of the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
Also during the working visit, representatives of the AFC refereeing department visited the matches of the sixteenth round of the championship of Tajikistan-2023 between Istiklol — Regar-TadAZ and Kuktosh — Fayzkand.
As a result of the visit, practical advice was offered to improve the training of referees in Tajikistan.
