DUSHANBE, 10.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 4, as part of the Season of showing foreign films and television series, a virtual meeting was held between Tajik and Chinese filmmakers.
The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the field of film production and the creation of joint films, which in the future will make the implementation of joint activities an important step in expanding the diverse cooperation between the two countries.
In particular, the meeting participants exchanged views on the implementation of projects in the direction of training film industry personnel, increasing the screening of films from Tajikistan in China and from China in Tajikistan, filming joint films, especially on the topics of the historical significance of the Silk Road and the essence of the Belt and Road Project in the modern era.
In order to strengthen cooperation, filming series, television dramas and implement other joint projects, Safina TV and the Beijing Radio and Television Station signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation.
It was emphasized that the full implementation of the document will contribute to the further development of cooperation, the creation of new joint films and projects of mutual interest.
