President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Heads to Uzbekistan for Economic Cooperation Summit

DUSHANBE, 09.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon departed for Uzbekistan to attend a summit meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Khovar news agency reports, citing Tajik presidential press-office.
He was seen off at the Dushanbe International Airport by the Chairman of the National Assembly, that of the Assembly of Representatives, the Prime Minister and the first deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, among other officials.
The Ministers of Economic Development and Trade, Transport, the Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and other officials are part of the delegation accompanying President Emomali Rahmon on his visit.
