Tajikistan and Iran Have Opportunities to Further Expand Cooperation in Various Fields

DUSHANBE, 09.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Iran discussed issues of further cooperation. It was said by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at a press conference following negotiations with the President of Iran Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi on November 8.
“During meetings and negotiations, we discussed current issues of relations and cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran. It was expressed confidence that the numerous historical and cultural communities of the two fraternal countries will continue to lay a favorable foundation for strengthening the atmosphere of good understanding, trust and mutual respect,” he noted.
According to the Head of State, it was also expressed satisfaction with the constructive atmosphere and positive trend in bilateral relations and the formation of their substantive level.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan and Iran have many opportunities to further expand and strengthen cooperation in various fields.
