Tourism Opportunities of Tajikistan Presented at the World Travel Market in London

DUSHANBE, 09.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The tourism opportunities of Tajikistan were presented at the World Travel Market, which was held from November 6 through November 8 in London.
Over three days, the exhibition was attended by representatives of tourism institutions and companies from all over the world, reputable companies, airports, hotels and the media.
The participants exchanged experiences, held meetings and signed contracts.
The delegation of Tajikistan, which is participating in this exhibition for the second time, on behalf of the Government and with the support of the Embassy of Tajikistan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, presented the tourism potential of the state at a high level.
For the first time at such events, the pavilion of Tajikistan was organized over a large area, presenting the country’s capabilities in the field of tourism with the involvement of a wide range of industry specialists, companies, entrepreneurs, guides and journalists.
A video prepared by the BBC World News television company about the tourism opportunities of Tajikistan was also shown as part of the exhibition.
During the exhibition, the leadership of the Committee for Tourism Development held meetings with the heads of delegations, travel agencies, experts, representatives of newspapers and magazines of other countries.
Also, representatives of travel agencies and artists of the country helped to attract tourists by offering advertising booklets, handicrafts, juicy fruits, rare flora and fauna.
A meeting was also held between officials of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. It was discussed the issues of enrolling the country’s students in foreign educational institutions and attracting qualified teachers to the country.
The participation of the Tajik delegation in the exhibition will contribute to the development of this important area and will lay the foundation for attracting more tourists to the country.
