Government of Tajikistan and the World Food Program Sign a MoU

DUSHANBE, 14.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 12, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Tajikistan and the United Nations World Food Programme took place in Dushanbe.
The bilateral document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Representative of the World Food Programme in Tajikistan Adham Musallam.
While affirming the mutual commitment of the parties to implement the WFP Country Strategic Plan for 2023-2026б the concluded agreement intends to regulate the cooperation of the relevant stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Plan.
The parties evaluated the current state of cooperation between Tajikistan and WFP, as well as exchanged views on the prospects thereof.
