Tajikistan and the UN Discuss the Organization of Joint Events

DUSHANBE, 21.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 20, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Jonibek Hikmat met with the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Head of Counter-Terrorism Office Vladimir Voronkov.
The meeting focused on the issues of mutual interest in the field of countering terrorism and extremism, as well as enhancing of cooperation within the “Dushanbe Process on Countering Terrorism” and its financing.
The parties also discussed the prospects of the joint international events in this area.
