Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Meets the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye

DUSHANBE, 23.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Baku, as part of participation in the 14th session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda met with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Numan Kurtulmus.
It was expressed satisfaction with the level of relations between Tajikistan and Turkiye.
It was noted that inter-parliamentary relations between Tajikistan and Turkiye can make a significant contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.
In this context, it was expressed interest in expanding the activities of the inter-parliamentary friendship group of the two states.
The parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
