Speaker of the Tajik Assembly of Representatives Attends the Meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly

DUSHANBE, 23.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda addressed the participants of the 14th session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly on the topic “Development of regional cooperation for sustainable development in Asia” in Baku.
Zokirzoda emphasized that Tajikistan is a supporter of fruitful cooperation with Asian states for sustainable joint development.
He added that the Parliament of Tajikistan attaches great importance to cooperation with member parliaments within the framework of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
The meeting was also attended by heads of parliaments and parliamentary delegations from more than 30 countries, including Russia, Turkiye, Indonesia, China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Oman and other countries.
