Twelve Airlines Operate at the International Airports in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 12.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In 2023, one domestic airline Somon Air and 11 foreign airlines operated flights from international airports in Tajikistan to foreign countries.
They are UT Air, Ural Airlines, North Wind, Sibir-S7, Yamal (Russia), Air Astana (Kazakhstan), Uzbekistan Airlines (Uzbekistan), Fly Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Turkish Airlines (Turkiye), Vorish Airlines (Iran), Jazeera Airways (State of Kuwait) and Buta Airways (Azerbaijan), reported by Tajikistan’s International Airport.
“In 2023, airlines operated 12,238 international flights, transporting 3,678,500 passengers,” the source notes.
Dushanbe International Airport served 2,227,386 passengers in 2023, which is 470,200 passengers or 27% more than in 2022.
