DUSHANBE, 29.08.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On August 29, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

At first the meeting heard the report of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, on the Strategy for prevention, control of non-communicable diseases and injuries in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040.

It was emphasized that the strategy determines the goals, tasks and priorities of early detection of diseases, reduction of morbidity, reduction of premature mortality and disability from non-communicable diseases and improvement of quality of life.

The main areas of implementation of the strategy are implementation of activities such as promotion of healthy lifestyle principles and prevention of non-communicable diseases among the population.

After considering this issue, the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the Strategy of prevention, control of non-communicable diseases and injuries in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040 was adopted.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon issued instructions to the ministries and agencies, executive bodies of state power of GBAO, Sughd and Khatlon provinces, Dushanbe city and cities and districts to implement the strategy, take the necessary measures and submit a report on the progress of work.

Then, the National Civil Aviation Safety Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025-2030 was adopted.

As it was informed, the purpose of this program is to ensure the safety of passengers, flight crew, ground staff, protection of airport facilities and infrastructure, and regular efficiency of international civil aviation flights in the Republic of Tajikistan.

In continuation of the work of the meeting, drafts of a number of laws, including the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Unified State System of Registration and Accounting of Offenses», «On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan» and «On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On financial lease (leasing)» was discussed and submitted for consideration to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Relevant decisions were made regarding the establishment of the State Institution «National Center for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement» and the procedure for assigning the targeted social allowance, determining its size and poor citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, gave instructions to the officials for the timely implementation of state strategies and programs and other documents.

Instructions and guidelines were given to the ministries, agencies and executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts on the beginning of the new academic year and serious preparations for the winter season. Much attention was also paid to the expansion of development works to welcome the national holiday of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
