DUSHANBE, 13.08.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Honorable To Lam, which reads:

I am honored to sincerely congratulate You on Your election to the responsible posts of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

I wish You good health, success in your party and state activities, and to the friendly people of Vietnam — lasting peace, stability and ever-increasing prosperity.

Tajikistan and Vietnam share long traditions of friendship and mutually beneficial relations.

We are in favor of the strengthening and expansion of good relations between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest, and we optimistically view their prospects.

I express my hope that with the joint efforts of the parties, the interstate cooperation of our countries will continue to develop and will be enriched with new practical content.
