DUSHANBE, 07.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in continuation of his working trip to the cities and districts of Khatlon Province, visited Kushoniyon district.

First of all, the Head of State opened the «Vahsh Sanoat» plant for the manufacturing of two-wheeled and three-wheeled motorcycles.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that the plant for the production of electric vehicles was built on an area of 15 thousand 325 square meters.

The production plant consists of a workshop for the manufacturing of iron parts of vehicles, a section for shaping metal products, a section for welding and polishing of metal, a workshop for painting iron parts, a section for painting and drying large and small metal components, as well as a workshop for the final assembly and installation of vehicles.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, advised domestic entrepreneurs and industry officials to produce up to 90 percent of electric vehicle equipment and spare parts within the country in the future.

During the familiarization the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon instructed the officials to present 20 wheelchairs to the needy people of the district.

Here, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon was shown a sample of manufactured products.

The company produces more than 30 types of such vehicles, including 5 types of motorcycles, 6 types of scooters, 15 types of two-wheeled scooters and 5 types of tricycles.

The production capacity of the enterprise is up to 800 vehicles per month and 9 thousand 800 vehicles per year depending on the domestic market demand.

The installed modern technology allows the production of high-quality vehicles that are also suitable for export.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon gave specific instructions and orders to the officials of the sector for the development of the automotive industry in the district and, in general, to strengthen the production capacity with the manufacturing of import substitution goods, as well as to increase the number of new industrial enterprises.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, after the opening of the «Vahsh Sanoat» production enterprise, got acquainted with the rich crop of the Kushoniyon district and highly appreciated the hard work of the industrious people.

It was emphasized that light and electric vehicles of this enterprise are conducive to ease the problems of farmers and rural entrepreneurs.

The exhibition featured the best types of agricultural products, including vegetables, various types of fresh and dried fruit, and cereals and legumes.

President Emomali Rahmon gave instructions and recommendations to officials to further boost the production capacity, improve the culture of land cultivation, use of idle lands, introduce advanced technologies and raise the motivation of shareholders.
