President Emomali Rahmon makes personnel appointments

DUSHANBE, 09.01.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On January 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received for a conversation the personnel appointed to the management of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Ministry of Defense, National Guard, and Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense.
The heads of a number of departments of the Prosecutor General’s Office, prosecutors of the cities and districts of Khorog, Konibodom, Tursunzoda, Rasht, Farkhor, Nosiri Khusrav, Baljuvon, and military prosecutors of the Bokhtar and Sughd garrisons were appointed from among young and professional personnel with work experience in the authorities.
Personnel changes were also made in the command structure of the Ministry of Defense, and the commanders of some military units and military commissars of a number of cities and districts were appointed to these responsible and management positions from among experienced officers and graduates of two higher military institutions.
By Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the heads of some departments, divisions and training centers of the National Guard were also appointed to these military units from among professional officers and specialists in the field.
During the conversation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in connection with the complex and unpredictable situation in the international arena, emphasized that in such sensitive and dangerous conditions, the duty of every leader, commander, military personnel, law enforcement officers is to ensure the security and stability of the state, protect the country’s borders and homeland, and the achievements of the independence era, and in this direction they must be vigilant and smart and carry out their official duties on the basis of military charters and instructions.
The main topics of the conversation were the fight against all kinds of violations of the law, including corruption, non-statutory relations, ensuring a healthy atmosphere in military service, learning foreign languages, mastering modern military equipment, physical training, and improving the level and quality of patriotic education among the personnel of the Armed Forces.
