On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Honorable Min Aung Hlaing, which reads:
“Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
We were deeply grieved by the news of the severe earthquake in the friendly country of Myanmar, which has caused a large number of deaths and injuries and damage to numerous buildings and structures.
In connection with the tragic consequences of this natural disaster, I would like to express my sincere condolences and sympathy to you, the relatives and friends of the deceased, and all the people of your country, and wish a full recovery to all those injured.”
