DUSHANBE, 21.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – From May 21 to 24, Dushanbe will host the Central Asia–Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Youth Forum, aimed at strengthening cross-regional cooperation and promoting youth-led initiatives in key areas such as sustainable development, innovation, environment, sports, and culture.
Organized by Tajikistan’s Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs, the forum provides a platform to build networks, advance people-to-people diplomacy, and foster long-term solidarity between the youth of Central Asia and GCC member states.
The event was initiated by President Emomali Rahmon during the first Central Asia–GCC Summit held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in July 2023.
