DUSHANBE, 23.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 23, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received the Advisor to the Cabinet of the Emir of the State of Qatar Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Attiyah.
The meeting discussed issues related to the expansion of relations between the two countries.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the level of relations between Tajikistan and Qatar, and expressed satisfaction with the content of relations at various levels, especially at the highest level.
First of all, Muhammad Al-Attiyah conveyed the greetings of the Emir of the State of Qatar to the Head of State of Tajikistan and expressed his pleasure at the opportunity to meet and discuss ways to expand cooperation beneficial to both countries.
During the conversation, greater attention was paid to the expansion of cooperation in the sectors of trade and economy, investment, energy, mining and processing of minerals, agriculture, and tourism.
The development of cooperation in the areas of science and education and the use of artificial intelligence were also called important ways to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
There was also an exchange of views on specific regional and global issues.
