DUSHANBE, 13.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the building of Faculty No. 4 of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Khujand.

The new educational facility consists of 6 floors, a basement, 12 spacious classrooms, an assembly hall with 500 seats, a dormitory with 176 beds, and a canteen.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, charged relevant officials in the field, teachers, and cadets to make proper use of the opportunities provided and improve the professional skills of future police officers.

The total area of the institution is 7 hectares, and a large area is planned for the construction of sports facilities and greenery.

Previously, due to the lack of classrooms and conditions, the educational process was carried out in another institution. The care of the Government of the country and the construction of such a beautiful and modern building made it possible for cadets and students of this faculty of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to study in modern conditions.

The construction and renovation of various facilities and the creation of conditions in accordance with the requirements encourage young people to receive a good education and serve faithfully for the benefit of the state and the nation.

In the courtyard of the institution, a field for parades and ceremonial events has been erected in accordance with the requirements.

Here, a sample of the design of military uniforms for law enforcement officers was presented.

Also on the same day, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, was presented with the project of the building of the Durakhshandagon Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan for 500 students and a dormitory with 260 beds.

The new educational institution will have 25 classrooms, an assembly hall with 150 seats, a library with a reading room, a laboratory, practice rooms and other auxiliary facilities.

The dormitory building for students consists of 3 floors and has 85 rooms. At the same time, it is planned to build a canteen for 240 people, a hall, and a sports field on the territory of the dormitory.
