On October 22, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, arrived on a visit in Vose district of Khatlon Province to get acquainted with the living conditions of the people, the progress of development and construction works, to open a number of important facilities, and to hold meetings and discussions with residents.
The working visit of the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, began with the opening of the State Flag and Emblem Square, which was built on an area of 3.3 hectares.
This square, which was built as part of preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, provides favorable conditions for residents and guests to relax and entertain.
The height of the flagpole of the State Flag of Tajikistan, including its foundation, is 52 meters, and the flagpole is 7 meters wide and 14 meters long.
The area around the facility is 32,000 square meters of greenery, flowers, and lights, and about 600 shady and ornamental trees have been planted there.
The State Emblem is 22 meters high, and its foundation is decorated with marble.
The sidewalks of the square are tiled on an area of about 5,000 square meters, and benches have been placed for the relaxation and entertainment of residents and guests.
This square, located in the town of Hulbuk, has become an attractive and spectacular place for residents to walk and is intended for holding various patriotic events involving young people and teenagers.
