Political Consultations Between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom Held in London

On February 25, 2026, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland were held in London at the level of heads of relevant divisions.
According to the Foreign ministry of the country, during the consultations, the parties reviewed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was given to strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic relations, promoting investment opportunities, and enhancing collaboration in the fields of education, economy, trade, science, culture, security, and migration.
The sides also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues, as well as cooperation within international organizations, reaffirming their mutual interest in maintaining constructive engagement within multilateral frameworks.
