Tajik and Uzbek Anti-Corruption Agencies Discuss Expanding Cooperation

On February 16, a meeting between a delegation from the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight against Corruption of Tajikistan and the leadership of Uzbekistan’s Anti-Corruption Agency took place in Tashkent to strengthen bilateral cooperation, the Agency reported.
During the talks, the parties discussed the development and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in combating corruption and reaffirmed their readiness to deepen collaboration within the framework of the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.
The visit of the Tajik delegation aimed primarily at studying Uzbekistan’s experience in implementing advanced anti-corruption measures.
