Tajikistan Promotes Digital Transformation Agenda at AI Impact Summit

DUSHANBE, 20.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – The implementation of artificial intelligence in public administration in Tajikistan was presented at the International Summit “AI Impact Summit,” held Feb. 16–20 in New Delhi, India, by representatives of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to Khovar, citing the agency, officials also reviewed progress in developing the digital economy and strengthening the regulatory framework governing the sector. They said Tajikistan is gradually reinforcing digital infrastructure and workforce capacity to support the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies.
Officials noted that the experience of leading countries demonstrates that AI applications in public services, health care, education, finance and industry can improve administrative efficiency.
On the sidelines of the summit, bilateral meetings were held with representatives of international companies and organizations to discuss cooperation prospects and investment opportunities.
Participation in the forum is expected to help strengthen Tajikistan’s international standing in innovation and digital technologies.
