On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened the “Sughd Sanoat Holding” Beverage Production Factory in Khujand and got acquainted with the project of 5 new production and service facilities.

The “Sughd Sanoat Holding” Beverage Production Factory consists of two technological lines imported from Germany and the People’s Republic of China.

The number of employees at the industrial enterprise will gradually be increased to 50 people in accordance with market demand and the capacity of the technological lines. The production of import-substituting products is one of the main goals of the enterprise.

The production facility was built by entrepreneur Mirzoabdurahmon Mirzobahodurzoda.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the initiative of the entrepreneur in the targeted use of the privileges and incentives offered by the Government of the country, the introduction of modern technology, the establishment of new enterprises, and the increase in the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products.

The new industrial enterprise will produce two types of thirst-quenching drinks after processing local raw materials. The future goals of the entrepreneurs are to fully utilize technological capabilities, increase product production in accordance with market requirements, and augment the number of employees.

Also, here, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was presented with the construction projects for a pasta production factory, a mixed animal feed production factory, a cotton processing plant, a modern greenhouse, and the “Sughd Mall” service center.

The pasta factory produces and offers 5 types of products to the market. The imported technology is designed to produce up to one ton of products per hour.

The total area of the “Sughd Mall” service center is 14 thousand square meters. The facility will be built based on the project in accordance with international standards.

We remind that during the working trip to the Sughd Province on October 15, 2020, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, after opening the Sughdiyon Trade and Service Center and the sewing workshop in the Bobojon Ghafurov district, instructed entrepreneurs to expand their activities and create a modern service center by the national holiday of the 35th anniversary of state independence.

Thus, based on the instructions of the Head of State, the construction of the “Sughd Mall” service center has begun and is progressing smoothly. Entrepreneurs plan to put it into operation during the days of celebrating an important historical date by creating dozens of new jobs.

The feed mill in the city of Buston is designed to produce 12 types of mixed feed for livestock, poultry, and fish. The total capacity of the enterprise is 10 tons of products per hour.

At the same time, it is planned to build a greenhouse on an area of 10 hectares. The vegetable production process will be carried out using modern equipment in accordance with the needs of the consumer market.

Another project is a cotton processing plant, the capacity of which will be to process up to 50 tons of products per day. The main direction of the enterprise will be the processing of local raw materials to the final level.

In total, after the implementation of 5 new projects by entrepreneurs in the Sughd Province, approximately 1,500 new jobs will be created.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, drew the attention of relevant officials ministries and departments and entrepreneurs to the high-quality completion of work on projects, expanding the opportunities for the final processing of local raw materials, involving as many citizens as possible in employment and the production of competitive products.
