The Head of Executive Office of the President of Tajikistan Rahmon Ozoda Emomali elected the Chairman of the Committee in the Upper House of Parliament
Dushanbe, 18.07.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. At the seventh session of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was held on July 15 in Dushanbe, the Head of Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmon Ozoda Emomali has been elected the Chairman of the Committee of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the country on Ensuring the Constitutional Foundations, the Human and Civil Rights and Freedoms and Legitimacy.
Members of the Upper House of Parliament observed a minute of silence and honored the memory of former member of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the late Qahhor Mahkamov.
In total the deputies of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli discussed 34 issues, including staff appointments, the adoption of new laws, the changes in the names of some geographical areas of the country and others. Relevant decisions were taken with respect to all discussed issues.
