CIS Cultural Cooperation Council awarded Tajikistan’s figures
Dushanbe, 10.10.2016 / NIAT “Khovar” /. A number of cultural figures of Tajikistan are awarded with diplomas of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS member states, the press center of the Ministry of Culture of the country reports.
“The awards were given to figures whose achievements meets the world level and promote cultural cooperation of CIS member states”, — the statement says.
In particular, for significant contribution to the creation of a common space of the theater the Director of the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after S. Ayni Manuchehr Sharifzoda was awarded with diploma and badge.
In addition, the well-known writer Majid Salim for his personal contribution to the development of national literature and translation activities in the framework of the CIS and Jahongir Sadirov for long-term and active work on strengthening and development of cultural cooperation between the states-participants of CIS were also awarded with certificates of the Council.
We will recall that representatives of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan gathered in Astana on October 5-6.
During the council the current state and prospects of development of humanitarian cooperation and interaction between the state and public institutions engaged in cultural contacts, as well as studied modern processes and trends in the development of culture in the framework of the Commonwealth were discussed.
