Dushanbe hosts the International film festival “Didor”
Dushanbe, 17.10.2016 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Filmmakers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mongolia and the USA have gathered these days in Tajikistan. Dushanbe hosts the VII International festival “Didor – 2016”, the correspondent of NIAT “Khovar” reports.
About 80 films are presented for show. The festival opened with the screening of the film of the famous Tajik Director Bakhtiyor Khudoynazarov “Brother”, which is dedicated to the current “Didor”. Also, on the day of the official opening, the shows of paintings “Insight”, “Arusi Zamonavi”, (“Modern bride”) and “Safari havoi” (“Air trip”) were held in the “Zebunisso” cinema.
Traditionally, within the program of the event is held a competitive screening of short films, feature films, fiction and documentary films, which were made over the past two years, both venerable directors, and debutantes.
Another section of the competition includes new Tajik movies. The results will be announced at the festival closing ceremony.
We will recall that today continues the competition of showing of films of participants of the festival in the cinema «Zebunisso». The Organizing Committee invites all to view eight more exciting films, such as “Waiting for the sea», “Daughter”, “the Care of Jonas”, “Tomorrow the sea”, “Together forever”, “Ray of dawn” and “A few cubic meters of love”.
