Tajikistan, UAE to develop cultural cooperation
DUSHANBE, 06.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda in the course of his working visit to Abu Dhabi, UAE, has met with the Minister of Culture and Development of Education Sheikh Nahyan bin Muborak Oli Nahyan. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press center of the Ministry of Culture.
Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda thanking for the warm meeting, noted that cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries is developing and will continue to develop. In confirmation of these words, the Minister of Culture gave an example of participation of Tajik masters of culture and art in festival “Heritage of Sheikh Zayyid”, which was held in Abu Dhabi in December 2016 and the festival “Cultural heritage of Sharjah”, passing on April 4-21 of this year in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The two parties have noted the necessity to hold Days of Culture, exchange of creative groups and participation in cultural activities.
Tajik masters for the first time participated in the International Festival “Cultural heritage of Sharjah”, presenting the achievements of the Tajik people.
