Upper House of Parliament supported around 20 issues
DUSHANBE, 12.07.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, July 12, around 20 issues related to political, economic and cultural life of the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed and supported at the eleventh session of Majlisi milli (fifth convocation) here in Dushanbe.
As NIAT “Khovar” correspondent reports, the members of the Upper House of Parliament have discussed and supported four Constitutional Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan — «On introducing amendments and additions to the Constitutional Law “On Elections to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On legal status of members of Majlisi milli and deputies of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan”, two new and improved laws – the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On assessment of the impact on the environment” and “On domestic tourism”, as well as the introducing of amendments and additions to the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On police”, “On the operational-search activity”, “On Advertising”, “On traffic”, and “On natural monopolies”.
The chairmen of committees of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Ozoda Rahmon, Davlatsho Gulmahmadzoda, Farhod Rahimi, Mahmadyusuf Imomzoda and Rahmonali Amirzoda expressed that these laws are prepared with the view of improvement of legislation, their conformity to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, strengthening of the rule of law and development of socio- economic spheres and strengthening of statehood.
The name of some settlements of Yavan district have also been changed at the eleventh session of Majlisi milli.
