Starting from September 1 in all secondary vocational and higher educational institutions of Dushanbe city will be introduced the old mode of starting classes — from 8 hours
DUSHANBE, 29.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Starting from September 1, classes in all secondary vocational and higher educational institutions of Dushanbe city will start from 8 am. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
A corresponding decision was made the day before at the meeting of the board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. According to this decision, starting from the new academic year in all universities, colleges and schools of Tajikistan will be introduced the old mode of starting classes.
We will recall that a year ago, the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan with proposal of the Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe city, decided to change the start time of classes in higher and secondary vocational schools in Dushanbe city, according to which the classes started half an hour earlier, that is, from 7:30 am.
Currently, there are 35 higher educational institutions in the country, where more than 120,000 students are studying.
