Tajikistan Parliament ratified the Agreement on the CSTO member states cooperation
DUSHANBE, 02.10.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Agreement on the CSTO member states cooperation in the field of transportation of military and other units, their movable property, as well as military purpose products, and Protocol on the extension of the validity of the Agreement on the establishment of the unified system of technical coverage of the railways of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization dated April 28, 2003 and on making changes in it were ratified today, October 1 by the members of the Lower House of Parliament of Tajikistan.
Sherali Mirzo, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan commenting these documents before the parliamentary members, said that they will play a constructive role in the enhancement of cooperation between the CSTO member states.
It should be noted that the Agreement on the CSTO member states cooperation in transportation of military and other personnel, their personal chattel, as well as military goods has been submitted to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan for approval by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. This Agreement was signed on September 15, 2015 in Dushanbe.
