Opportunities for expanding Tajik — Korean cooperation discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 05.10.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Deputy Prime Minister of the country Azim Ibrohim met with the First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Lim Sung-nam.
During the meeting the Deputy PM A. Ibrohim expressed the interest of the Republic of Tajikistan in attraction of investments, influential industrial enterprises of South Korea and creation of joint ventures for the development of trade and economic relations of the parties.
The parties have appreciated fruitful the interaction of the Tajik-Korean Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
It was proposed to the Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Lim Sung-nam that with the purpose of expanding bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation to discuss the draft Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in the field of labor migration . The Korean side has stated that the Working Commission will be established to discuss the draft Agreement.
The meeting also discussed the issues of security and stability in the region and the world.
