MASTERS OF ARTS OF UZBEKISTAN ARRIVED IN DUSHANBE
DUSHANBE, 08.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. A delegation of culture and art of the Republic of Uzbekistan yesterday arrived in Dushanbe on a night flight. At the Dushanbe international airport the guests were greeted by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the Issues of Social Development and Public Relations Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda, NIAT “Khovar” correspondent reports.
The guests’ delegation includes many famous singers, musicians, and dancers of brotherly Uzbekistan, including People’s Artists of Uzbekistan Sherali Juraev, Yulduz Usmonova, Farrukh Zokirov, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Bunyodbek Saidov and others.
Today the artists have already begun a joint rehearsal. As part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev there will be held a gala concert of masters of arts of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan entitled “Friendship Evening” at the State Complex “Kokhi Borbad” tomorrow in the afternoon. Also, People’s Artist of the USSR Jubabek Murodov, People’s Artists of Tajikistan Saidqul Bilolov, Davlatmand Kholov, as well as Rustam Dulloev, Nigina Amonkulova, artists of the state ensemble “Shashmakom” and others will perform in the concert.
The concert along with Presidents of the two states Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will also be attended by the members of the official delegation of Uzbekistan, members of the Government and Parliament of Tajikistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Dushanbe and the public.
In a short interview with NIAT “Khovar” correspondent, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Farrukh Zokirov did not hide his joy from what happened. “I am very glad that the relations between our countries are getting closer, and exchanges in all spheres are increasing. We were impatiently waiting for this day. Personally, I missed Dushanbe, I have not been here for a long time. There are so many unrecognizable transformations here in Dushanbe!”.
We will recall that in 2000, Farrukh Zokirov and Mardon Mavlonov were awarded the title of People’s Artist of Tajikistan by the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
