First festival “Navruz — cultural heritage of tourism” will be held in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 15.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The first festival “Navruz — cultural heritage of tourism” will be held on March 22 at the “Boghi Iram” garden of Dushanbe. The festival is conducted in honor of the International Navruz Holiday and the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the source, the purpose of the event is to present tourism opportunities and Tajik culture to tourists, who visit Tajikistan on the eve of and during the celebration of Navruz.
It is planned to hold an exhibition of national crafts and traditions of Navruz, national games, cook national dishes, and show concert numbers within the framework of the festival.
The festival is organized by the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
