TAJIKISTAN’S CULTURAL EVENT IN FRANCE. Davlatmand Kholov again performed on the Paris stage and delighted the French audience
DUSHANBE, 08.07.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The cultural event of Tajikistan was held on June 29, 2018 in Paris. This interesting program was initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the French Republic.
According to Tajik Embassy, the cultural event was carried out jointly with the Cultural Association of the Tajik Diaspora in Paris – “Ravzana” in order to explain and implement the initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the field of tourism and folk crafts development, as well as present the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country.
The People’s Artist of Tajikistan, Head of the “Falak” Ensemble of the Committee for Television and Radio under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatmand Kholov and the Master of the National Conservatory of Tajikistan Shavkatjon Oqilov made performance at the event. “They delighted the French audience”, — the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the French Republic reported.
The event was attended by the representatives of the ministries and departments of the French Republic, the diplomatic corps accredited in the host country, trade, scientific and cultural circles, the Tajik Diaspora of France, as well as Tajiks living in this country and friends of Tajikistan.
Variety of national cuisine, an exposition of pictures and photographs of Tajik masters with national color were presented at the event.
We will recall that in October 2005, during the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to France, the four well-known Tajik artists — Davlatmand Kholov, Abduvali Abdurashidov, Sohib Davlatshoev and Haqnazar Alovatov were awarded the Order “Art and Eloquence” of France. This high award was presented by the then French President Jacques Chirac in the presence of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
