Concert “Evening of Friendship” will gather Tajik and Uzbek artists in Khujand
DUSHANBE, 06.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Tajikistan and Uzbekistan continue to develop fruitful cooperation in cultural, economic and other areas. This is evidenced by joint events, which have recently become a good tradition. So, on September 7, a large delegation of the Samarkand province of the Republic of Uzbekistan will visit the Sughd province of the Republic of Tajikistan. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Executive body of state authority of Sughd province.
A number of joint events are planned within the framework of the visit. In particular, Uzbek guests will visit the main sights of ancient Khujand.
“Samarkand and Sughd artists will hold a joint concert in Khujand under the symbolic name “Evening of Friendship”. The audience will be able to enjoy the performances of the best artists of the two provinces, which will become a kind of cultural bridge connecting the two states”, — the source said.
In addition, in order to develop entrepreneurship, exchange experience and establish contacts, a business forum will be held with the participation of entrepreneurs of both provinces.
It should be noted that these events are aimed at consolidating cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
