Selection, verification and preparation of historical exhibits of Tajikistan for export to France discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 20.09.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Shamsiddin Orumbekzoda met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Tajikistan Mrs. Yasmine Gouedard, the Custodian of Guimet Museum of Asian Arts in Paris Valerie Zaleski and the Head of Museum Exhibitions Katya Molle, the press service of the ministry reports.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Museum of Archeology of Tajikistan Saidmurod Bobomulloev, the Deputy Director of the Institute of History and Archeology named after Ahmadi Donish of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdullo Ghafurov and the employee of the Department of the National Commission for UNESCO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Iftikhor Nazarov.
The parties discussed the presentation of historical and cultural exhibits of Tajikistan at the exhibition in the Paris Guimet Museum of Asian Arts, the choice of the airline and the time for the transportation of exhibits.
Valerie Zaleski reminded that the purpose of her visit to Dushanbe is the beginning of the preparatory processes for the exhibition, in particular, the selection, verification and preparation of exhibits for export to France.
Tajik Minister of Culture expressed his confidence that this event will be held at a high level.
The holding of exhibition of historical and cultural exhibits of Tajikistan at the Paris Guimet Museum of Asian Arts is scheduled for November 2019 — February 2020.
