Tajik, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Turkmen Composers Congregate in Tashkent for International Festival
DUSHANBE, 10.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Young Tajik, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Turkmen composers have congregated in Tashkent, Uzbekistan to participate in Central Asia’s first International Festival of Young Composers.
Zafar Turdaliev, who is a member of the Union of Composers of Tajikistan and a teacher at the Tajik National Conservatory named after T. Sattorov is representing Tajikistan, reported the Union of Composers of Tajikistan.
During the festival, Turdaliev will present the «Concertino for Symphony Orchestra with a Piano Solo,» «Waltz-Fantasy for Large Symphony Orchestra» and the «Hulbuk» symphonic poem.
The International Festival of Young Composers aims to actively promote the best works of upcoming composers, to stimulate the development of different genres of music for the symphony orchestra and folk instruments orchestra, as well as to expand Central Asian composers’ international ties.
